Learn about the genius behind Anthropos, a cutting-edge and eco-friendly fashion line for men.
My new clothing line, Anthropos, epitomises masculinity. For me, being a man means returning to your natural instincts. Affectation and pomposity are rubbish. A real man knows who he is, and is not afraid to express it. My new clothing line comprises of a single white singlet; a utilitarian blank canvas inspired by the construction worker and the street sweeper. I say, keep it simple and functional. Let's return to our humble roots!

Being a pioneer takes a lot of courage and balls. Breaking the mould is not an easy task. You have to look deep within and be honest and brutal. Finding the essence of who you are is the cornerstone to style. Everyday I wake up and ask myself, "Who am I?"

Even though I hate the show Mad Men, it has done a lot for reviving mens fashion. Once you get past the sloppy writing, the cliche storytelling and the cartoonish characters, you'll find a world of incredible style and sophistication. If you want to dress well, then watch Mad Men!

As an expat living Hong Kong, I'm constantly inspired by the environment and the city. The energy and the movement of this place makes me shiver. Every street that I walk down I find a pocket of inspiration. Sometimes I'm confronted with too much inspiration, so I have to close my eyes and try to calm myself down. Being Hong Kong's most influential and stylish fashion blogger is a title that I don't take lightly. Every day I wake up and rise to the challenge. My name is StyleMatt, and I love Hong Kong!

Growing up in East London was tough. We never had much money, and nice clothing was hard to come by. As a teenager, I was very envious of the dapper gents that I would see in Chelsea. Rather than feeling sorry for myself, I went about improving my style by doing lots of research and spending time searching through second hand shops. When I realised that style does not equal money, "StyleMatt" was born. I had arrived!

As a trendsetter, a lot of people ask me what the secret to having great style is. I always say, "Keep it simple, functional and elegant." I can't stand it when people over complicate an outfit or accessorise too much. Layering is great, but there's a point where it becomes excessive and pretentious. My style advice today is to make it simple, but significant.
